- DOB 10/05/2001
Association: South Canberra Netball Association
When and how did you first get involved in netball: I spent many years watching my mum play and then began playing netball at the age 5
Previous representative teams: U11-U15 junior rep, Div 5 junior state league and div 3 Senior State League
Favourite food: butter chicken or banana bread
What is your pre-game ritual: Re-tie my hair and my shoelaces just before a game
What is your favourite netball memory of all time: having the opportunity to go on a netball tour around New Zealand with my club in 2016. It was an amazing experience!
Stranded on an Island, what are your 3 essential items: food, water and a genie who can grant me wishes!
Your sporting idol and why: my sporting idol would have to be Sharni Layton. Even though we don’t play the same position on court, I find Sharni’s determination, persistence, strength and confidence extremely inspiring and are all qualities I hope to posses myself on court.
What do you do when you’re not on the court: athletics, travel, cooking, watch tv
Why are you excited to represent the ACT on home soil in 2017: I’m excited to play on my home court as I think this will give the team an edge and the confidence we need to succeed! I’m also so excited to be playing with an amazing group of girls!
