Advanced Coaching Accreditation

COURSE DURATION – 30 HOURS

The Advanced Coach Accreditation is a three-day course progressing from the Intermediate Coach Accreditation. It is designed for coaches who are coaching at Representative and State League level. The Australian Sports Commission’s Advanced Coaching General principles course has been integrated into the Advanced Coach Accreditation.

Enrolment Pre-requisites

»  Intermediate Coach Accreditation

»  At least one (1) year/season coaching experience after completion of a Netball Australia Intermediate Coach Accreditation and two (2) years coaching at a minimum level of representative 15/U

»  Two session plans assessed as competent by a mentor, using the seven step progression

 

Assessment Tasks

»  The advanced coaching course requires participants to complete three written assignments;

⇒ Game Analysis Coaching Assignment

⇒ Cross Sport Placement Assignment

»  Two Coaching Session Video’s – one on attacking and one on defending

»  Practical Coaching Task – 60 minutes (warm up not included) in a team training environment with a minimum of 10 players.

»  Practical assessment will take place after all components of the course have been completed including the assignments.

»  Participants have two (2) years from the commencement date to complete all assessment tasks
