Lisa Alexander has been an inaugural part of the netball family for many years. She represented Victorian State and was a member of the Australian senior squad before transferring her talents to coaching.

In the Commonwealth Bank Trophy, Lisa was the Head Coach of the Melbourne Phoenix and led the team to two titles in 2002 and 2003. She was appointed the head coach of the U21’s Australian side for 2006-07. Then when the ANZ Championship was announced in 2008 she was made assistant coach of the Adelaide Thunderbirds, who won the 2009 title.

On August the 11th in 2011 Lisa was named the head coach of the Australia National Netball Team, the Diamonds, taking over from Norma Plummer. Since 2011 Lisa has held the Head Coach position for the Australian Netball Diamonds and has led the team to win 1st place at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and their third consecutive World Cup in August 2015.

More recently Lisa’s successes included the Australian Diamond’s third straight Quad Series title, overseeing the Australian Diamond’s Silver medal victory at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and an impressive sixth straight Constellation Cup victory.
