District/Association: Belconnen Netball Association
When and how you first got into netball: I started when I was five because my mum’s a netball fanatic. At 11 I switched to basketball playing netball on and off throughout. I am now committed to netball and loving it
Previous representative teams: This will be my first real representative experience with netball, I wish I’d switched sooner!
Nickname: “Stop doing that” and just simply Mol
Favourite food: Nothing beats Eggs Benedict and I will not be convinced otherwise
What is your pre-game ritual: I do up my shoes and pretend to be relaxed and calm
What is your favourite netball memory of all time: Watching Liz Ellis play for the Sydney Swifts when I was little and beating TNA in State League despite a rocky season
Stranded on an Island, what are your 3 essential items: My laptop, a good book and a blender
Your sporting idol: Sharni Layton, she’s the full package and a great athlete as well as one of the best netballer in the world
What do you do when you’re not on the court: I tell dumb jokes, scroll through memes, watch YouTube religiously and annoy my family
Why are you excited to represent the ACT on home soil in 2017: It’s a lot more convenient to kick ass and take names with friends and family watching. Also I really want to compete with the best and put all the hard work we’ve put in to use and prove that despite our state’s size we are still a quality team.
