Nominations for the 2019 Develop a Diamond Program are now open. Athletes aged 14-16years – born in 2005, 2004 and 2003 are encouraged to nominate and trial for the Develop a Diamond Program.
The primary objective of the Develop a Diamond Academy (DADA) is to provide athletes with exposure to a high performance environment by providing an individual based program for athletes who show the potential to progress through the Netball ACT athlete pathway in future performance cycles. DADA is the entry program for athletes into the Netball ACT Academy and Representative structures and is delivered in accordance with the Netball Australia Develop a Diamond curriculum.
In accordance with the Netball ACT Athlete Selection Policy the DADA selection trials will be held on the following details:
- Saturday 9 February 2019 from 8-11am for athletes 14 years old (born in 2005)
- Saturday 9 February 2019 from 12-3pm for athletes 15 and 16 years old (born in 2004 and 2003)
Note: athletes who are eligible to trial for the DADA program but are also interested in trialling for the 2019 NACTA Developing Talented Athlete and Emerging Talented Athlete programs, NACT recommends athletes to trial for the DADA program in the first instance.

The above program dates and venues are subject to change and will be confirmed with athletes and parents upon induction to the program.
