Netball ACT (NACT) is looking for an enthusiastic individual to coordinate our Performance Pathways across our Academy and State Team Programs. This role will require you to coordinate all logistical requirements for travelling teams, as well as being the Manager for our Netball ACT and Capital Spirit Academy programs.

Netball ACT is looking for an enthusiastic individual to help develop netball programs in diverse communities throughout the ACT as we continue to grow our participation.
Netball ACT is seeking up to two passionate individuals to join our Developing Umpire Program as volunteer coaches. This program aims to support and develop umpires transitioning from club or district levels into the Netball ACT Umpiring Pathway, with a focus on preparing them for the HCF State League Competition.
Key Details:
Position Type: Volunteer
Duration: February 2025 to April 2025 (6 months)
Location: SolarHub ACT Netball Centre, Lyneham
Hours: Flexible, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends based on the program schedule.
Role Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver a training program aligned with Netball Australia’s Umpire Development Framework and High-Performance Pathways.
- Promote a high-performance culture that aligns with Netball ACT’s vision and values.
- Focus on holistic, individualised umpire development through on-court and group sessions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and Netball ACT policies.
Essential:
- Netball Australia National B Badge Umpire Accreditation.
- Current Working with Vulnerable People Check.
Desired:
- First Aid Certificate.
- Experience coaching umpires at district, regional, or state levels.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced umpires with a passion for mentoring and growing talent. An honorarium will be provided, as outlined in the volunteer agreement.

NACT is on the lookout for additional casual Development Officers to help grow and nurture netball within the ACT region. Development Officers are responsible for assisting NACT grow participation in the design and delivery of programs such as – Sporting Schools, NetSetGO, and School Holiday Clinics.
Work is offered on a causal basis whereby hours can fluctuate from week to week. This is dependent on the demand for programs and each school term can be
different.
