Following a rigorous selection process Netball ACT are pleased to announce the 19 and Under ACT State Team who will participate in the National Netball Championships (NNC) in Brisbane (April 2019).
Talent and Performance Manager, Nicole Bowles was pleased with the number of athletes who nominated for the 19 and Under State Team Program and who have pushed for selection. “This year we have seen an increase in the number of athletes who nominated for the 19 and Under program, which is a testament to the strength of netball within the ACT.”
“We are also pleased to see two athletes make their State Team debut in 2019, showcasing that opportunities can arise at different times for athletes on their netball journeys. It is important to keep that fire in your belly and remain confident to achieve your goals.”
