Netball ACT would like to congratulate all athletes who took up the challenge of trialing for the 2020 ACT State Teams. This year saw a tremendous number of athletes nominate for the State Team Program which is a testament to the depth of the pathways within the ACT. In particular how athletes of these age group have been engaged with the competition platforms in the Capital Chemist Junior Championships and HCF State League.
Following the selection process, we are delighted to announce the 17 and Under State Team and 19 and Under State team of athletes who will compete at the National Netball Championships in Hobart from the 18 – 23 April 2020.
General Manager – Operations and Sport, Nicole Bowles was excited with the number of athletes who nominated for the State Team Programs and who have pushed for selection. “This year we have seen another increase in the number of athletes who nominated for the ACT State Team programs, showcasing the tremendous work athletes, coaches, Districts and Netball ACT is undertaking within the pathway”
“We would like to wish both ACT State Team’s the best as they start the preparations for the 2020 Nationals in Hobart, we’ll be there to support and cheer them on.”
