These athletes have been invited to join the Academy, with athletes selected from all district associations.
The Netball ACT Academy targets the development of aspiring youth athletes aged 14-15 years providing a foundation in technical and tactical skill development, physical preparation and athlete wellbeing. This year, 33 athletes were selected to participate in the program that will run from August to October. Selection into the Academy was by invitation, with NACT selectors observing athlete performance across the Capital Chemist ACT Junior Championships.
Carly Symons will lead the Academy as the Head Coach and will oversee court sessions, specialist sessions, off-court education sessions, and conditioning, as well as practice matches against other Academies.
