The grant will be focusing on volunteer-run grassroots and community clubs and organisations with young members aged 20 or younger, with priority given to those that have been most disadvantaged financially by the impact of Covid-19. Grants will be awarded in the form of equipment supplied by HART Sport and onfield uniform supplied by ISC. There are no cash grants available in the 2021 Active Kids grant round. Applications will be accepted from 9am (AEDT) Monday 13 December 2021 to 5pm (AEDT) Monday 24 January 2022.
OBJECTIVES AND ELIGIBILITY
Active Kids grants are intended to assist clubs and organisations to support and encourage young Australians, aged 20 or under, to participate in sport. Grants are for the provision of sports equipment and on-field uniform supplied by the ASF’s partners. No cash grants are available in the 2021 Active Kids grant round.
Uniform orders must be for a minimum value of $5,000 GST inclusive. Clubs that are restricted to using specific apparel providers should check with their governing body, League or Association before applying for a uniform grant. The Active Kids grant can be used to encourage youth participation in the following ways: – Engagement of new participants, and/or – Retention of existing participants
