ACT athletes, Liam Platt and Dennzyl Costa have been selected into the Australian Men’s 17/U and 23/U Netball squad as Australian Mixed and Men’s Netball Association (AMMNA) selection camp invitees for touring sides.
Liam took part in the AMMNA National Tournament held in Perth in early April as a member of the NSW State 17/U Team.
“I am very excited and hope to put my best foot forward to secure a spot on the plan to New Zealand’, Liam said.
Dennzyl's selection follows his performance after playing for the 23/U NSW side in the Netball State of Origin held in Brisbane two weeks ago. Dennzyl also participated in the AMMNA National tournament in Perth as part of the ACT Griffins Mixed Reserve side.
To support both Liam and Dennzyl’s National squad selection, the Capital Darters Academy has invited them as training partners.
