Round 2 of the Capital Chemist Junior Championships was hosted by the South Canberra Netball Association. In one of the coldest weekends of the year the Junior Representative netballers braved the elements.
In most Divisions across round 2 Canberra versed Tuggeranong with both Associations coming away with eight wins across the day. This was going to be the round to watch as these two netball powerhouses showcased their skills across all divisions.
The match of the round was in the 14’s Division 3 where at full time Tuggeranong and Belconnen could not be separated, finishing in a 16 all draw.
Building from their performance in round 1 Belconnen thrived in round 2 coming away with ten wins and a draw from playing the hosts South Canberra across most divisions. South Canberra will be looking to find their round 1 form as they take on a confident Tuggeranong in round 3.
