Round 1 of the Capital Chemist Junior Championships was a strong start for South Canberra, taking home 12 wins out of the 16 divisions played last Sunday. South Canberra will be looking to continue their success and take advantage of their home court as they look to host round 2 of the competition this Sunday (23 August 2020).
Canberra also had a strong start to the competition with 11 wins out of the 16 divisions in round 1 and will be looking to continue this run into Round 2. However, standing in their way will be powerhouse Tuggeranong who will be itching to get their session off with a bang after a bye in round 1 for most of their teams.
Tuggeranong will be looking to make an impact as they enter the competition in round 2 of the Capital Chemist Junior Championships.
Belconnen had mixed results in round 1 and will be looking to better these results as they move into round 2 going up against strong performers from round 1 South Canberra.
Our game of round 1 was the debutants to Junior Championships in the 11 years Division 1 competition. Going right down to the wire, Canberra took the win from hosts Belconnen 22 to 21.
Arawang have the bye round this weekend and will be looking to make an impact on the competition as they host round 3.
