Netball ACT and Capital Chemist are pleased to announce that Capital Chemist have today renewed their commitment as the naming rights partner for the ACT Junior Championships for the next three years.
The ACT Junior Championships is the premier junior netball competition in the ACT. Teams that compete in the Junior Championships are representative teams from each of the five Districts within the ACT. These include Arawang, Belconnen, Canberra, South Canberra, and Tuggeranong. Consisting of 75 teams across three divisions in the 11-14 years age group and two divisions in the 15-17 years age group, over 750 athletes compete across two weekends at the SolarHub ACT Netball Centre, Lyneham.
Netball ACT CEO, Matthew Battams believes that the renewing of the partnership is a great show of support to the netball community and grassroots sport.
“Community Sport relies on the support of wonderful partners like Capital Chemist. This renewal is a great demonstration of the strength of the partnership that has been formed between Netball ACT and Capital Chemist over the past three years” Battams said.
“The ACT Junior Championships brings not only players together from across the ACT, but also umpires, coaches, officials and spectators. The two weekends will see around 2000 people come through the SolarHub ACT Netball Centre.” added Battams.
