The championships are a pathway competition for emerging national talent. It will be fought out between 11 teams from state and territory member organisations as well as Suncorp Super Netball league clubs.
Ten athletes from the ACT and two from NSW will make up the 12 Darters players, with all athletes having a variety of experience in high performance pathways.
This year's roster features several returning players as well as some newcomers.
Zimbabwe Gems world cup shooter, Nalani Makunde is back again this year. She is joined by 2022 Darter teammates Amber Brophy (South Coast Blaze), Olivia Clark (GWS Fury), Milla Papallo (UTS Sparks), Latika Tombs (Manly Warringah Sapphires), and Malia Harrison (Tuggeranong Netball Association).
Aimee Landrigan is one of two NSW athletes and joins the team from the QBE Swifts Academy.
As 19/U athletes, both Aimee and Hayley Matthew competed for NSW and ACT in this year's National Championships and will be joining the team for the first time.
A member of the Australian 19/U squad, Hayley also plays for Gold Coast Titans Netball in the Ruby Series (QLD).
Millie Boehm, Favour Lokudu, Caitlin Brady and Carly Symons round off the group from the 2023 Capital Darters Academy.
The Capital Darters team of 12 will be joined by four ACT training partners.
The date and venue of the Australian Netball Championships will be announced by Netball Australia soon.
