Nominations are being sought for athletes wishing to be considered for the 2022 The Capital Spirit Opens and U23s Teams.
The Capital Spirit franchise is managed by Netball ACT and competes in the Netball NSW Premier League competition. It provides a crucial step in the performance pathways to support athletes and coaches from the ACT and surrounding regions.
An exemption has been granted by Netball NSW for The Capital Spirit to hold trials outside the nominated Premier League trial dates for ACT and Queanbeyan athletes only. These will be held at Netball ACT for athletes who have nominated for The Capital Spirit U23 only on the following dates;
Saturday the 25th of September from 9am to 12pm (COVID dependent)
Monday the 27th of September from 5:30pm to 7:30pm (COVID dependent)
The Capital Spirit Open’s will be a paper selection.
Athletes from outside of the ACT and Queanbeyan (including Sydney and regional NSW) are welcome to nominate for both The Capital Spirit teams, with trials for these athletes to be held at a later date (if required).
