Rising stars from the ACT Netball community, Liam Platt and Dennzyl Costa, set out to represent Australia as part of the U17s Youth Boys and U23s Men’s National teams.
Liam Platt, a promising talent in the ACT Netball scene, jets off to New Zealand today as part of the U17s Youth Boys Australian team. Liam's journey to New Zealand will be a significant step in his netball journey, and his selection reflects his dedication, skill and hard work on court.
Dennzyl Costa national team announcement comes after his performance at the national selection camp last month. Dennzyl heads to Singapore early December this year.
Australian Under 23s Head Coach - Brian Lines said that we have some future stars in the making.
“To have an opportunity to play netball in Singapore against emerging countries in the men’s category is exciting for the game as well as our athletes. It will be a great test for our list as runway talent for the Kelpies team”, Lines said.
The journey to international competition is an exciting one, especially for our male athletes, filled with challenges and opportunities for growth.
Netball ACT wishes both Liam and Dennzyl all the best for their international tour.
