Netball ACT is excited to announce a three-year extension to its apparel partnership with Struddys.
Struddys will continue to be the official uniform supplier for Capital Darters, ACT State Teams, The Capital Spirit, Academy Programs, State League Umpires and Netball ACT staff.
From 2022 Struddys will also become a major partner of The Capital Spirit and will support the Opens and Under 23s team competing in the Origin Energy Netball NSW Premier League competition.
Netball ACT CEO Matthew Battams was excited to continue this partnership. “Struddys continue to be a great partner for Netball ACT. They attend the Capital Chemist Junior Championships each year, supply our umpire polos and State Team uniforms and are keen to innovate with new designs and concepts. Struddys have shown their willingness to work with Netball ACT for mutual benefit.”
“I am also really excited that Struddys are working with Netball ACT to create uniform options that are inclusive of participants of all genders.”
Netball ACT is currently seeking the views of the netball community via a comprehensive participation survey. One of the questions includes a reference to uniforms when considering barriers to participating in the sport and the responses will be carefully reviewed.

The Capital Spirit will again compete in the 2022 Netball NSW Premier League competition beginning in April 2022.
