Round 2 of the Netball NSW Origin Energy Premier League will see The Capital Spirit against ERNA Hawks. The Capital Spirit will be looking to bounce back after tough losses last week to the South Coast Blaze.
In 2020 the U23’s Hawks finished their season in 8th place, tonight the Spirit will look to capitalise on turn over ball and improve transition both on offence and defence. Seeking to reduce their unforced errors across the court and maintain their high shooting percentage U23s Head Coach Kim Symons is confident her team has learnt from Round 1 and are ready for tonight’s match.
After a strong fourth quarter last week, the Spirit Opens will be looking to continue that form heading into this week’s match against the 2020 Runners Up. “We were happy with our structures last week and have been focusing on our technical execution and starting this week’s match strongly,” said Opens Head Coach Kate Carpenter.
