Tonight, in the Netball NSW Origin Energy Premier League The Capital Spirit will come up against GWS Fury. In the Opens both teams will be looking to bounce back after losses last week, whilst the Under 23s will be wanting to maintain their momentum from last weeks come from behind effort to draw the match against ERNA Hawks.
The Under 23s will be looking to continue their form from last weeks match, when they pulled back a 9-goal deficit to draw the match with ERNA Hawks. “Whilst we have been hit with some injuries this week, we are continuing to build on last week’s mental toughness to continue to fight for the full 60 minutes,” said Kim Symons.
With both sides coming off loses last week the Opens is set to be a hard-fought contest from the first whistle, Head Coach Kate Carpenter said ahead of this week’s match “We look forward to the matchup against Fury, both matches last year were within 10 goals. Starting the match strongly has been a key focus this week.”
