Round 4 of Origin Energy Premier League sees The Capital Spirit taking on UTS Randwick Sparks. In the Opens division both sides will be looking to bounce back after tough loses last week. The Spirit Opens Head Coach Kate Carpenter said “There will be a different look to the attack line this week, due to the unavailability of some players. A major focus for the team has been a reduction in our unforced errors and recognising and controlling critical moments in the game.”
In U23’s the side will be in for a tough contest, with the Sparks currently sitting 2nd on their conference ladder defeating both GWS Fury & ERNA Hawks. Head Coach Kim Symons said after a solid week of training she is looking for improvement in their consistency and intensity across the four quarters. In previous games we have managed to have two strong quarters, so now it is key we keep that consistency across all four. “
