In round 7 of the Origin Energy Premier League The Capital Spirit will come up against a strong and in form Manly Warringah Sapphires. The ACT will be strongly represented again this week with 3 ACT athletes taking the court for Manly.
After a disappointing loss last week, the U23’s Head Coach Kim Symons said, “We had a good training session this week, and are looking for an improvement on our performance from last week.”
When Opens take the court it will be a battle of the shooting ends when Nalani comes up against Teigan O’Shannassy and Millie Boehm faces Georgia Marshall. Head Coach Kate Carpenter had this to say about tonight’s match “Last time we played Manly, it was very much an attacking match that went goal for goal and was hard to get defensive gains. Our preparation this week has had a strong focus on attack.”
