Netball ACT is pleased to announce that long-time partner SolarHub has committed to a further three years as the naming rights sponsor of the ACT Netball Centre.
SolarHub has been supporting ACT Netball since 2015, beginning with the design, supply, and installation of a 51kW commercial solar PV system for the Netball ACT Centre in Lyneham.
SolarHub CEO Benn Masters said he is proud to support Netball ACT.
“Community sport is super important, I have young children in community sport. I'm passionate about it,” he said.
“It’s not just a company aspect but a personal aspect to me. I'm a big supporter of netball and I love to see it thrive in the ACT. It’s been a fantastic relationship.”
Netball ACT Interim CEO Dr. Sally Clark said it has been an outstanding partnership and one she is proud to see continue.
“Great brand, great local company in Canberra, it means a lot to us,” Sally said.
“We're able to run a lot of programs with that investment and it's a really nice fit with sustainability and everything we're trying to do here at Netball ACT.”
This year, Netball ACT presented SolarHub with a framed dress to express our gratitude for the past 10 years of sponsorship.
In addition to the naming rights, SolarHub continues to honour community contributors through the SolarHub Homegrown Hero Award at Netball ACT’s annual Presentation Night.
The award celebrates individuals who go above and beyond to give back to netball in the ACT and recognises efforts that create meaningful, sustainable impact within their community.
The renewed sponsorship agreement will continue through to 2028.
