Netball ACT is pleased to announce that Andrew Collins has been appointed as the Consultant to lead the recently approved High Performance review for netball in the ACT.
Andrew is a Canberra based, experienced and well respected Sports Consultant with a strong background and valuable connections in the sport of netball.
Andrew was previously the Executive General Manager of Performance at Netball Australia with responsibility for the high performance program from the Diamonds through to the underpinning national pathway programs. Andrew has also worked for the Australian Institute of Sport as Sports Performance Manager and Sport Australia as a Senior Sports Consultant.
Netball ACT is committed to delivering an effective high performance and pathway program that provides ACT athletes and officials (coaches, umpires and bench officials) the best opportunity to develop, compete and perform at the highest level.
The completion of a high performance review was recently approved by the Netball ACT Board in support of the 2023-2025 Strategic Plan. The review will start immediately with recommendations expected to be presented to the Board in early February 2023.
