Netball ACT is pleased to announce the appointment of Marji Parr as the Capital Darters Assistant Coach. Parr is the current Head Coach for Origin Energy Premier League side South Coast Blaze Opens and was the Assistant Coach for the 2019 NSW Under 19’s team.
The former Canberra Darter who played under Head Coach Bronwyn Bock-Jonathan, Parr said of her appointment, “I’m extremely excited to be back in the Darters program, not as a player but as a coach and to work with Bronwyn. I’m really looking forward to investing in this space and sharing my knowledge with the selected group of athletes representing the ACT.”
“It’s really exciting to have a coach like Marji join the coaching team. Her experience at the international level, being the inaugural South Coast Blaze Head Coach and her strong connection with the Canberra Darters will be so valuable as we build the Capital Darters team,’’ said Head Coach Bronwyn Bock-Jonathan.
The Capital Darters will compete at the Australian Netball Championships, in Traralgon, VIC in mid-September.
