Netball ACT is pleased to announce the reappointment of Kate Carpenter (Opens) and Kim Symons (U23’s) as The Capital Spirit Head Coaches for the 2021 Origin Energy Premier League competition.
Carpenter brings a wealth of international experience, having previously held coaching positions for New Zealand, Fiji, Singapore, Botswana, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka, and Northern Ireland. Symons is a well-known coach in the ACT netball community, having previously been appointed Head Coach for four ACT Nationals campaigns.
“I’m really excited about 2021 and building off what we achieved in our inaugural season. Our vision remains the same that is to build and shape a successful team culture and competitive performance environment. “said Carpenter.
Symons added “I’m honoured to be given the opportunity to continue to coach The Capital Spirit U23’s in 2021 and look forward to working with Head Coach Kate Carpenter throughout the season.”
The 2021 Origin Energy Premier League will commence on Wednesday 14 April at the Genea Netball Centre, Sydney. Player announcements will be made in the coming days.
