Nominations are sought from suitably qualified individuals who wish to be considered for election to the Board of Directors of the ACT Netball Association Incorporated (Netball ACT).
Current Director Anne Collins has completed a 3-year term as an elected Director and has advised that she will not be nominating for a further term.
One Director will be elected by representatives of the Member Organisations for a term of three years.
The election of a Director will be conducted by the Returning officer taking place on Thursday, 21 May 2026, in accordance with the Netball ACT By Law 01/06 – Board Elections. A copy is available from Netball ACT via the website. Details are also available on the current Board Directors
Nominations are strongly encouraged from individuals with strong governance, legal, policy and financial skills, and a sound knowledge of Netball. Netball ACT encourages applications from First Nations people.

Nominations from candidates wishing to be elected as a Director should complete the Netball ACT Director Nomination Form, including Appendix A: Board Skill Matrix Evaluation, and include a supporting statement that addresses the requirements and details qualifications and experience.
It is recommended that nominees for Board positions submit a curriculum vitae as part of their application outlining their experience and suitability for the Board.
Information provided by applicants will be provided to Member Organisations to review.
Nominations will open on Thursday, 23 April 2026, and must be submitted no later than 12 noon, Thursday, 14 May 2026.
