Round 5 of the HCF State League Netball competition included some incredibly close games, ties, and match highlights in all levels.
We began the Men's League on Friday night, with Queanbeyan holding off a strong South Canberra team, winning by two goals.
South Canberra however continues to dominate the Division Two competition, having not lost a game this season. They will face Canberra in a top-of-the-table duel coming Friday night.
Despite playing at a late time of 9 p.m., the Division One teams did not disappoint, with some games decided in the final few minutes of the fourth quarter.
Canberra led by eight points going into the fourth quarter, but Tuggeranong fought until the last seconds, losing by one point. Arawang also came back in the fourth quarter of their game against Belconnen to win 50-43.
In the 17s encounter on Sunday, Queanbeyan led by two points going into the fourth quarter, but South Canberra rallied to tie the game at the end.
