Introduced in 2013, the Marie Little Shield netball competition provides female athletes with an intellectual disability the chance to represent their state at a national level. Specialised coaches and support staff are also selected to support on and off the court and maximise the experience of each athlete.
Presented with Visit Victoria as the Official Event Host Partner, the 2023 edition will be contested at Waverley Netball Centre across three days from Friday 15 September until Sunday 17th September.
