Netball ACT is excited to announce that Dr Sally Clark will be joining the organisation as our new Chief Executive Officer on the 5th of December 2022.
Sally joins the organisation with over 25 years experience working in the high performance sector with sports such as swimming, Paralympics, triathlon, water polo, tennis, race walking and rowing.
With a background in Exercise Science, completing her PhD in 2004, Sally will bring a wealth of knowledge to the organisation. Sally also has experience in sports administration and governance and is currently the Executive Officer at Rowing ACT.
"I'm excited to be joining Netball ACT and to work alongside the Board, staff, and community to deliver growth and sustainability from grass roots to high performance," Sally said.
"I am looking to bring my 25 years experience in High Performance sport and knowledge of community sport here in the ACT to the role. To do this in netball, one of the most iconic sports in Australia is exciting."
Netball ACT Chair Sue Scanlan said that the Association had undertaken an extensive recruitment process and she was delighted that Sally had accepted the position at NACT.
Sue said she and her colleague directors are looking forward to working with Sally and believe that the skills Sally is bringing to NACT will be a great asset to the Association and to netball in the ACT.
"This is an exciting time for the Association with a new constitution and policy review completed this year, a new strategic plan to be released shortly and a high performance review to be completed in the next few months. Sally will obviously play a key role in the further development of the Association and of netball in the ACT," Sue said.
