“I am excited to be joining Netball ACT as Chief Executive Officer later this month. I cannot wait to meet the netball community, learn about all of the great things that are being achieved and share my experience in the sport”.
“Netball is a sport that inspires the community and transforms lives and I am very grateful for this opportunity”.
Acting President Trish Crossin said “Netball ACT welcomes Matthew to the position of CEO and we look forward to having the benefit of his knowledge and passion for the sport.
Matthew has lived the sport and has extensive experience at all levels of Netball.
2021 will be a year of opportunities for Netball in the ACT as we move back to full competitions, continue to grow the sport and support and celebrate our high performance athletes, coaches and umpires. Matthew’s experience and enthusiasm for Netball will benefit our netball community and help drive netball to be a sport of choice in the Nation’s Capital.”
Matthew will commence with Netball ACT on Monday 30 November 2020.
