To the ACT Netball Community,
Thank you to all stakeholders that took the time to provide feedback and input to the NACT Governance and Capability Review late last year.
As communicated at commencement, this comprehensive independent review was scheduled to be completed in late January. The review has been overseen by a Review Steering Group (RSG), consisting of an independent Chair and representatives from Netball Australia, ACT Sport and Recreation, President NACT and District Presidents.
I am pleased that the RSG has recently considered the review findings and have agreed in principle to its recommendations. The RSG will soon meet with the Board to discuss these further. It is expected that a reform implementation plan will be critical to taking forward the outcomes of the review, and that its development and implementation will be actioned as a priority.
Further information will be provided post the Board and District Associations reviews of the recommended reforms.
