Extending their prosperous affiliation with ACT Netball, SolarHub reaffirms its dedication through a three-year agreement, ensuring they retain the naming rights until 2026.
SolarHub has been sponsoring ACT Netball since 2015, with the relationship first beginning when SolarHub were appointed to design, supply, and install a 51kW commercial solar PV system for the Netball ACT Centre in Lyneham.
Sally Clark, the CEO of Netball ACT, emphasizes that the three-year collaboration offers Netball ACT a chance to make the sport of Netball accessible to all in the Capital Territory.
“The extension of our partnership with SolarHub demonstrates that successful, local businesses in the ACT see value in supporting community sport,” Sally said.
“Sponsorship from organisations such as SolarHub aligns with Netball ACT’s values and enables Netball ACT to invest in programs and facilities, providing a better experience for the netball community in the ACT.”
Emphasising the shared goals of both organisations, SolarHub CEO, Benn Masters, stated: “SolarHub has a decade-long tradition of proudly supporting community sports. We’re eager to support Netball ACT in the coming years.”
“Whether at the grassroots or professional level, we are dedicated to seeing netball flourish in our region,” Benn mentioned. “We aim to amplify opportunities for newcomers and strengthen the sport’s reputation”.
In addition to the naming rights, SolarHub continues to honour community contributors through the ‘SolarHub Homegrown Hero Award’ during Netball ACT’s annual presentation nights. The SolarHub Home Grown Hero Award celebrates people in the community that go above and beyond to give back to netball in the ACT. This award is in recognition to efforts to enhance and deliver sustainable change and impact to their community netball.
