This week the ACT Government announced updated guidelines in relation to a return to play for all sports within the ACT. Stage 1 of the Return to Play in a COVID-Safe Environment, allows for non-contact outdoor activities (individual groups of no more than 10 participants – inclusive of any coaches and support staff). However, this is conditional upon all sporting associations and clubs within the ACT, having a Return to Play in a COVID-Safe Environment Plan in place.
Netball ACT is currently working with all Associations to draft and prepare these plans across all Netball clubs in the ACT. Until confirmed by your own District Association that the necessary plan is completed, we recommend you do not take part in any formal training or play. We understand everyone is eager to get back to training, however, Netball ACT and its District Associations are committed to the safety and welfare of our netball community and we want to ensure that we provide a return to sport framework that complies with all health and safety requirements of the ACT Government.
